Anyone know off hand what lines deboar has been sending out vs each av line for the home ice advantage? Curious if it’s made a difference and if each coach has drastically changed anything at home.
I guess I can explain it better to your simple mind. Cale likes to dive. He goes down too easy. Do you need more or can you comprehend that?
hard disagree but whatever. Your posts seem to only try to incite negativity. Makar imo is one of the most ethical players in the league when it comes to that stuff.

Avs with MacKinnon will lose gm7 as they always do, he is
a loser when it counts.

DeBoer was putting out the Benn/Johnston/Dadanov line out there against Mack in game 5.

We’ll see what he does Saturday but I’m not sure DeBoer really line matches the forward lines.

He did however try getting our top line out there against Girard’s pair.

True. But surprisingly, he has not been diving this year. Normally he is flopping all over the place…just like Makar.

As an Avs fan, I'm more than happy for the refs to bury the whistle and just let these guys play in game 7.

The Avs have done very well for themselves in this series 5v5 while Dallas is winning the special teams battles. The less penalties called, the more that helps the Avs IMO.

The Hintz PP goal, my god that was a beautiful power play.

In all three games in Dallas, Benn has the most minutes of any winger against Makar. DeBoer is clearly favoring that matchup.

This thread (it's a long one) is a pretty good observation of how DeBoer is using Benn specifically to counter Makar:

Huh? He’s flopped multiple times this series and is good for two or three a game.

Meanwhile Makar has literally denied penalties and told refs he lost an edge and it wasn’t a trip.

Marchment has the second most diving penalties in the NHL the last 4 years.

Makar has two pretty noticeable dives off the top of my head. The one against Marchment in game 4, and the one last night on Granlund.

That being said, Marchment is no better and I have no issue saying that.

I mean he's literally in the second clip...

Ryrcroft so im sure Stars fans wont even watch it, but Id love to find anyone do the same breakdown against the Avs. Bednar doesnt come off as that type of coach and obviously Deboar is and its kindof sad to see in general from any team, but i understand it. If the refs are dumb enough to call it, take advantage of it. Just doesnt feel as good winning that way if it were me. Very Mighty Ducks 1 Charlie Conway type stuff.

The Marchment one if you look closer was a butt end to the mouth and he was bleeding...since it was marchment 1000000% easy to believe he threw the butt end out of his glove an inch.

Have a video of last night against Granlund?

We’ve gone back and forth on the Makar/Marchment one already, safe to say we disagree so it’s pointless to go at it again lmao.

Let the record show though, I don’t fault Makar tbh. You do what it takes to win but he definitely flopped pretty hard to ensure he got the call. Granlund is a pretty small player too.

Avs were seen as a massive favourite going into this series

Very few gave Dallas a chance
Well they didn't know what they were talking about, which is par for the course with Avs coverage. The media creams its pants over Makar And MacKinnon and they stop there.

Have a closer angle? More looking to see if he was watching the puck and blindsided or a flop.

Nuke one was 100% interference. Thats simply a missed call vs a dive.

You couldn't pay me to watch anything from Altitude. The broadcasts I've caught from them over the years have made Jack Edwards seem like he was an impartial party by comparison. I'm fine with home broadcasts making dumb excuses for players (like Daryl Reaugh always blaming the team's shit play for either being too tired or having too much time off, lol), but I strongly dislike commentators who are bigger cheerleaders for a team than some of the fans.

Wow, those plays are damn near identical.

Could probably debate whether or not the pick was intentional on either play, from Makar or Grandlund there, but the fact the officials didn't treat it the same way isn't a surprise at all.

Officiating in general's a total crapshoot, these teams know that going in.

Makar is the biggest diver on the Avs and my fellow Avs fans shouldn’t even be trying to deny it.

On the other side, you have Benn running into high sticks and Marchment breaking his own neck anytime he is touched in the chest so there’s that.

If you’re not cheating a bit, you don’t want to win bad enough. Welcome to playoff hockey.
