We have some crazy shooters. It’s why Olofsson’s days are numbered. We have shooters who can offer more away from the puck than him. But his shot is still the best of the lot. But you can put Kulich on the power play in his place and definitely get more at five on five. You can put Rosen there and hopefully get more five on five. You can put Quinn and his lightning wrist release there and definitely get more five on five. You already have Tage on the other side giving you a ton more at five on five.

You can also change it up and have guys without the one timer in that spot distributing like Krebs or Ostlund or maybe even Mittelstadt. Or Savoie who can pretty much do anything with the puck.

With Power or Dahlin quarterbacking for the next era you can try a lot of things. Almost all of which will improve you at even strength with someone in Olofsson’s spot.
Oloffson will have a long career if keeps improving .. the drive of an older 7th rounder and ability to learn new tricks. harder to replace if he nets 60 pts . And I think he knows it

Kulich is literally the Gigachad meme in a Sabres sweater, just needs to grow out some beard.

I think he will struggle at first. Quinn and Peterka both struggled at the beginning of their AHL time.

I think your projection is realistic. I think Appert will have an offense first game plan especially with six offensive defenseman on the roster.
I think the exact opposite, he’ll dominate from day one.

Reactions: start winnin
Production wise it could be a slow start…but the game won’t be too big for him in the away from the puck stuff. He’s got the head and the heart for it.

Now on a 5-game point streak and a 3-game goal streak. It seems like he's starting to settle into North American pro hockey.
His current scoring pace would put him at 6th all time in points per game as an 18 year old. They have the cutoff at 20 games but he slots in right after Perfetti. He's at .737 points/game currently.

It's interesting watching him and Rosen develop the sort of chemistry Quinn and Peterka put together last year. In the near-term, it might very well be that the mid-line wingers are those four and that's going to be a matchup issue offensively for a lot of teams.

I think they kind of compare favorably to Quinn and JJ as well. Rosen is a sniper like Quinn who has a lot more battle in him than you'd expect. Kulich seems to have a high motor just like JJ and is relentless on the puck most of the time.

Wouldn't mind seeing those 2 play with Krebs for a stretch in Roch, See how they perform together. Could be a 2nd kids line.

Its a shame they can’t come up soon and play with Mitts. He coud use the help but its too early for that and wouldn‘t be fair to those two. In the meantime I like your idea of sending Krebs down to play with them.

I mentioned at prospect camp that I thought they think the game in a complimentary way. Kulich goes to where the puck is…Rosen goes to where he thinks it will end up. Kulich pressuring with Rosen thinking ahead seemed like a fit to me.

Agreed. They’ll need a vet center short term though
