Trending better than Gaudette when he was at Northeastern. Plays with the same motor, but is a bit quicker and more agile then Gaudette.

Rumours that Stan bowman was flippin out at his draft table when we made this pick. Maybe he was pissed because he was also one pick away from Hughes ?

12 points in 13 games as a freshman, D+1 in Hockey East is actually impressive.

hard working and smart kid who needs time to fill out and build strength. his hockey IQ is off the charts, he is just one of those kids that will find away to be a pro player because they are prepared to play whatever way necessary to get there.

Guy is having a hell of a year so far in the US college league. Pronman just called him one of the biggest risers so far since the draft. It is pretty soon to call him that but he has been dam impressive

Also is the guy rocking my avatar :yo:

I gotta admit that I was really mad that the Canucks took him over Jake Wise who went next.

Sorry that's all I got as I have to clean something off my face.

But does it make up for the Canucks choosing Jett Woo over Bode Wilde?

I was never really on the Wilde bandwagon as Woo looks like he could develop into a solid NHL Dman, Wilde is well... a bit of a wild card to me.

More risk more reward with Wilde.
