As a Buf fan, give me Zegras/Dach/Caulfield in that order.

I can imagine Zegras and/or Mitts feeding Olofsson for days.

It's so tight from 3-10 this draft. I personally hope Detroit takes Zegras and Cozens falls to us.
Going to walk away with a great prospect either way. I just love Cozens side and speed.

Yeah, CM's lack of production is worrying, but i wouldn't give up on him. He has disturbingly good skill, but could really use a wingman.
 
I don't know where all of these takes are coming from lol. That he lacks effort? Have you seen even a shift by shift video? That his skating is slow? That his skating isn't as good as Barzal when he is 18? Umm... wow. Honestly I think he is being ranked appropriately at the moment. He should go anywhere from 4-10 and anywhere lower is a massive coup. He played better when Hughes was out. I think whoever gets this kid will get a gamer.
 
Absolutely is being ranked where he deserves to be. Will be an offensive catalyst in the NHL. His skill level and hockey IQ are very good and his creativity is unbelievable.

Going into today I had a draft list that basically looked like this

T1
Hughes
Kakko

T2
Byram

T3
Turcotte
Cozens
Dach
Zegras

T4
Boldy

Before the draft even started I didn't see a ton of separation between the guys in T3. I had Turcotte first because of his all around game, then Cozens and Dach because of their size and talent, but Zegras was real close. When Detroit took Seider I got really excited because I was all on board for the Broberg to EDM rumor. I was ridiculously excited at the idea of getting either Zegras or Cozens. Happy with Trevor and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he ended up better than Cozens.

Congrats Anaheim fans, you got the guy I wanted most of all outside of the top 2 plus Byram. Screwed over by a meaningless 3rd period Pettersson goal!!!

Can’t wait to see this kid in the NHL in a year or two.

Ducks were never gonna pass on a high end Center to be the heir to Getzlaf. Compared to our other Center prospects none of them seem as likely to become a top line center like Zegras can.
However if Caufield & Boldy had gone before the Ducks picked then one of Cozens or Zegras may have been available for Vancouver.

That said, Pettersson/Podkolzin will be a heck of a duo when he comes to the NHL. Podkolzin likely becomes the 2nd best winger in the draft.
