Tanner Ludtke (2023): I think he’s a player who’ll be drafted. He has about average size, good puck skills, good hockey sense, a good shot, capable playmaking, and very good offensive instincts to find scoring chances. However, his pace is a problem. He’s not very physical, doesn’t have much of a motor, and his skating is average, at best. He’s not bad laterally, but has little straight ahead acceleration. Right now he plays center, but I can’t see him being a center in pro hockey. He’ll be a winger. I’d probably say a late pick, but I wouldn’t be too surprised if someone takes him a little earlier because he’s over 1PPG this season.
