I don't want to see him dealt but if something comes up where it would bring us back a difference maker it has to be considered given the questions around his durability.
Not with this GM

Savoie nearly scores about 4 minutes into the 3rd after Geekie has an unforced turnover. Geekie then blocks a shot and had to leave the bench to go to the room.

Great chance in tight, a big Dyck save.

Savoie vs. Geekie has been a saw-off tonight, each line with a goal. Looks like Moose Jaw will go up 3-1 in the series with it 5-2 with just over 2 minutes left in the game.

Just had his second A+ chance of the game, still nothing has fallen for him. Strong game, just not on the score sheet yet.

Wonder if Rochester stays alive long enough to get savoie over

Or flipped around, all seven games of the Moose Jaw-Saskatoon series are scheduled to finish by May 7th. Game Five of the Amerks series is scheduled for May 10th. Saskatoon laid a couple of absolute beatings on Red Deer to close out that series (8-5 and 7-0) in Red Deer. They're a definite hurdle.

From a pettiness standpoint, I would like to see Savoie get the better of Minten in this series, just to get Minten used to losing to a Sabre.

Honestly Rochester might not even need savoie to go far and savoie winning the CHL championship would be great for him and yes minten will need to get accustomed to taking losses from Sabre affiliated players

I want their CHL prospects to go as deep as they can in their respective league playoffs. The experience there is good for them. Komarov's had to face some challenges, Savoie has too. If that means they join the Amerks run late, so be it. Hell, it gets messy trying to shoehorn in small offensive guys when there is a need to have a balanced lineup so I'm not even worried about how soon Savoie in particular shakes loose.

He's a f***ing machine.

Goal to take the first lead of the game, with 4:52 left in the game.

So in the playoff games he has played thus far:

1 point in four games (three of those are 1-goal efforts)
2 points in four games including tonight
3 points in one game

In 9 games including tonight, he has at least 1 goal in 7. He has a point in all of them. He does not play with Firkus or Yager at 5-on-5, he simply tips the ice for his line (Calvert and McKenzie again tonight, sometimes Lakovic in the past) shift after shift.

Edit with Yager's OT winner.
