2 goals and an assist vs Windsor - after 2 periods.

Suomi/Finland
80 points in 121 games in the OHL prior to this season
106 points so far, in 62 games.

Not bad for the 19 year old, who pretty much didn't play last season at all, anywhere.
(just 4 games in the AHL).

Jack Quinn type of; all of the sudden stardom from nowhere.

Just an incredible year for Kerins that very few could have predicted. As mentioned earlier he's also grown to ~6'0" which doesn't hurt matters.

Yeah all Kerins has done so far is score a a high level at every level he’s played and yet ice time and premium opportunities seem to be held back from him. Hoping he can continue to see the ice, he’s demonstrated a history of talent that would be foolish to ignore.

Only six games in but is leading the AHL in goals with 7 so far playing as the team's top center. Thought it was strange he didn't get any preseason games or sent to Penticton for the Young Stars considering he is only 22.

Real smart player, I still don't know if I could project him to be anything more than a AAAA guy but I suspect he will get NHL games in the future. Another jack of all trades master of none type but with the right opportunity sometimes these types can be something and flourish. With Schwindt gone and Kirkland called up to the big club due to the Rooney injury it looks like Roaring Rory has made the most of his so far this season.
