My favorite things about the Canadians (I am a NY Rangers fan) is the fact that they put so much emphasis on prospecting the Q, building a home grown flavored (French Canadian) team, management & culture. It's one of the few provincial things remaining about the NHL and makes their franchise so unique and interesting.

2020 was pretty much the exception to the rule of not caring at all about that, under the Bergevin/Timmins regime.

what a season he's having, 2 assists tonight. I checked last week and he was the 2nd highest scoring U-19 player in the Q behind Joshua Roy.

I think the 2020 and 2021 drafts are going to have more later round steals then usual. Between the Covid breaks and the leaning towards euros wouldn’t be surprised to see later rounds out produce the early rounds
