Glad to see him excelling in the playoffs. It took him awhile to get there, and now that he is here. He is contributing to Dallas' playoff success. Good for Radek!
I don't think it took him a while at all. He's a second year pro, and one who suffered a season ending injury last year after only 32 games, and it's a surprise that he is in the NHL at all this early, let alone a player having this kind of impact in the playoffs this early in his career.
He was simply too good for the AHL when he was there this season. And at the end of the regular season and into the playoffs we've seen the addition of his offensive instincts to his strength in the faceoff dot, his strong work defensively and along the boards. I think the upside that was once considered in his draft year must be considered again, even though many had written it off.
