Was my No1 ranked forward in OHL draft. Consistently good, plays 60min. Shows stretches of pure dominance when he goes into beast mode.

Not sure what his ultimate upside is, but he might be a really good sleeper pick when you factor in the things he does well like skate, good shot, endless motor, and has a bit of a chippy/edge to his game.

He'll get more ice time next season with some of the vet graduations for Kingston, so we'll see what kind of offensive upside he truly has. Right now he could be anywhere from a Blake Coleman to an Anthony Beauvillier.

Very impressive motor - sometimes his hands can't keep up with his feet, but he's relentless and has shown the ability to get to the right spot to give him the best chance at scoring.

100% agree. There is definitely untapped offensive potential there. He is buried on a rather deep Kingston team.
Reminds me of Barrett Hayton at the same age in that sense.

Don’t think Ludwinski is getting enough love. He is a prime candidate for a breakout year with all the graduations Kingston has. Should play high up the lineup with a more offensive role that will see his production increase.

Agreed. Such a legit base to build off of. Skill seems to be coming along. Seems like a legit NHLer in some capacity if nothing goes wrong. I’d take him high in the 2nd

He looked decent enough for his age in the few preseason games he got with the Hawks, but yeah, it's been a very quiet first few months for him in Rockford. Disappointing considering he was a high 2nd rounder.

Anyone heard of him getting sent down? 19 games played at the AHL level and 1 assist, clearly not ready for pro hockey yet

Nothing yet. When he’s in he centers the third line with savoie and Hayes. He centered the fourth line a few games only. He’s been on the PK.

Not getting the benefit of ozone starts and no power play.

Still very early in his pro career, so we will see.
