so he will be OHL property?

No, I think it depends on his primary place of residence over the past few years.so he will be OHL property?
Off topic, your take on Daniel Sprong ?
Noel should go 1 in the Q if he reports..
Sprong looked great. I thought next to McDavid and Barzal, he was the next best player on the ice. Great speed and drive.
why are all these highend Canadian kids coming to the US to further develop their game??
pretty interesting...

Seth Jones isn't Canadian and Portland isn't in Canada.
it's kids from smaller areas where they outgrow the level of play and don't really have any other options. going to Shattuck or Athol Murray in SK is the best option.
Not necessarily all of Canada, mostly just the Maritimes.so your saying the US has better routes of development for players than in Canada....I like hearing that
Not necessarily all of Canada, mostly just the Maritimes.
Kids from the Maritimes have to leave home because they don't have the same resources as kids from larger regions do.
I suspect that many of these kids choose Shattuck because of Crosby's decision to go there.
If he had chosen Athol Murray College of Notre Dame instead, most of them would probably follow the same path (and plenty already do).
I understand, just being sarcastic since certain people feel that everything Canada is mighty in hockey....there are areas where it is lacking and it shows with the amount of kids coming to play for Shattuck or other highend prep schools in the US. Some are even coming to play tier-1 for Belle Tire or Honeybaked, etc...
Per his twitter he made SSM's prep team, first 10th grader since Crosby to do so.
