norm vs exception.

(I think you know that though...)

Of course there will be players now/future that put up huge numbers, but comparing top results 20yrs ago to the last few years we see quite a significant difference....

Yes I know and I'm getting your point. But we still see 2PPG 17/18 y.o. players in CHL these days even with new style. Little less than before, but still do.

He's destroying the Q. He's only been held off the scoresheet once and has 11 multi point games. Wow :amazed:

^^^ Damn. 4 goals which is impressive as hell, but they were 4 completely different goals. Deflection, one timer slap shot, rebound in front of the net, then a sick wrist shot. Everything is there in one highlight reel from one game. That's no joke. Only elite players do this stuff.

Thanks so much for this Serge, and could not be more true pigpen. A little bit of everything in those 4 goals, so awesome!

must be an error on qmjl site with the stats of the game, scored 4 goals and he was -1 on the night when they won 5-4 in the shootout lol.

Man, is this guy tearing it up. Good for him, show the doubters.
I have to say, I loved him early on last season, but was a bit disappointed when he was semi-invisible in games I saw late in the year, and started to become somewhat of a doubter. His play this year really does make it seem like mono could have been the reason for his late season slowdown, kid is just tearing it up. At this point you have to think he's on his way to becoming a top 6 forward in the NHL in the fairly near future.

Hehe, nice statistics in this last game. Quebec didn't have a single player with +, Grigorenko was -1 with 4 goals. While the other team had only 2 playesr with -1 and 3 guys with +3. And still Quebec won...

2ppg aside, his overall SSS and august SS performance were pretty disappointing to me.

His NT performances matters more to me than just Q domination.

And he was very good in the first SSS game.
