Wasn’t given an invite - not too surprising, I know Leafs fans aren’t going to like it.
Laba, Lipkin, and Boucher over Voit and Pastujov is embarrassing albeit not surprising.
Doubt USA personnel even bother watching OHL hockey.

Definitely a bummer for him and Sasha, oh well, guess he has a much better shot at the OHL scoring title with everyone else leaving for the tourneyWasn’t given an invite - not too surprising, I know Leafs fans aren’t going to like it.
I think it was half expected. Always a toss up with Americans in the CHL. Especially if they aren't a can't miss prospect.Wasn’t given an invite - not too surprising, I know Leafs fans aren’t going to like it.

and if you followed Pastujov's track record at the most recent events, you'd see it's not a surprise the slow, defensively weak player who the coaching staff didn't trust (and plays in the OHL) didn't make it...at least not any more so than Voit.Pastujov is surprising, Voit isn’t.
Small player without a record of representing USA internationally. You can make fun of the Boucher selection all you want but I think every GM in this tournament would want 6’1 Tyler Boucher who hits anything and everything he sees over anothwr small skilled player in the bottom-6.
They’re building a team to win gold - not a team you send to the all star game.

tough to say how he transitions to the pros but a 100 point season is still impressive non the less
He’s 19 though.Definitely impressive for a 17 year old
Looks like the Habs have one second round pick keeping up with our fifth round pick from the same draft.Definitely impressive for a 17 year old
Ya for sure. Voit looked better than him at WJC too.Looks like the Habs have one second round pick keeping up with our fifth round pick from the same draft.
Edit: and Roy is projected to not make 100, he was also a fifth round pick. Guess its not that impressive![]()
Aren't you a little old for this?Ya for sure. Voit looked better than him at WJC too.
And that's what really makes a good prospect!Ya for sure. Voit looked better than him at WJC too.
Yeah think he was injured most of last year. Seems like hes just to small/fragile to handle pro physicality.Injuries? Fallen off a cliff to where he's not really producing in the Coast. Woof
