Have you been watching his games at all? How is he looking outside of the goals? As far as driving play, creating opportunities for his linemates, his play off the puck? Or is he just kind of "leeching" off his team right now?

He's not the line's driver, but he works hard and so far is rewarded with those goals. Hard to ask for more than that from him at this point.

Good to see he's trending back toward being a legitimate NHL prospect. I liked his potential in his draft season but had him pretty much written off last year.

i believe it has to due with the KHL camps on top of the russian factor with the ongoing war and visa issues.
