Really excited to see how Kaskimaki shows at the WJC this year. Hoping he can develop into a legit NHL player!

I'm not surprised how good Kaskimäki has been in these U20 WJC's.
He's played well in HIFK and he's got confidence on scoring.

Kaskimäki has been IFK's leading U20 scorer almost whole season.
Even he hasn't scored much in these U20 WJC's he's been one of the best Finnish players.

It is great to see Kaskimäki playing well in SM liiga and U20 national team.
All these things means good for him when he's back to HIFK after the tournament.
If Kaskimäki stays healthy he'll be impact player for HIFK in SM liiga playoffs.

Kaskimäki also has 1 year left of his 3 yrs SM liiga contract with HIFK
so St Louis Blues should let him play one more year in HIFK before bringing him to AHL / NHL.

I would imagine the plan is to let him stay over there next year, as we have alot of guys either in Springfield or will be there next year. Love hearing the positive info, and look forward to seeing him in camp next year.

I'm surprised Kaskimäki leads his AHL team in points. He didn't show a lot of offense in Liiga or WJCs.
