Re : "Good for morale and energy, but not much else."

???

He's got way more upside than B.G.

My Guess : L.S. wins the Calder.
No way. He has multiple players above him on his team's depth chart. Meanwhile Celebrini and Michkov will play on the first line and top PP.

Why is he listed as a center on the roster. He will never play center on the Stars! Just wondering as a fantasy manager.

Center is his natural positio , it's what he played in juniors.

He'll play RW for Dallas, mostly, but may take some faceoffs.

Even he won't be stupid enough to screw with Michkov. I hope!

Yes, he is famous for coddling young players and handing them top-line minutes right from game 1.

3rd line minutes and PP2 role seem more realistic. With popcorn duty few times a month. He might still have good ES line-mate if he plays sheltered role with Frost.

Think there is a much bigger chance Stankoven plays in the top-line and PP1 than Michkov next season.

Stankoven looks like he'll start the year on the "third" line with Benn and Bourque. Dallas has a clear first line and then two secondary scoring lines, not really a true second or third.

He'll definitely be on PP2. PP1 will be the first line + Benn for another season again.

But should there be any injuries, Stankoven will probably be the first to move up in the lineup.

What you're overlooking here is Bourque and Stankoven already have a season of chemistry built up from playing together in the AHL.
