Very smart two-way center, forming a super duo with Victor Eklund, brother of William.

4 goals in 6 games in the HockeyAllsvenskan playoffs. Really liking his play this season and he is making a good case of being selected much higher than various rankings have him at. May not have many stand-out-skills other than hockey sense, but he does everything well IMO.

"Unfortunately", he will likely miss the U18 WJC since his team is headed for the finals.

I get the sense that Rosén is willing to wait it out, even if they’ll miss a couple games.

Eriksson is a very cerebral player, few missteps in his game, his defensive play is at an advanced level, and as a centerman is about a good as you could expect defensively at this age. Offensively, he's pretty good at converting chances and seizing openings to jump start the rush. Eriksson is vigilant with regaining puck control and his hustle along the boards, high compete.

Comparing Eriksson to Dvorsky's play in Allsvenskan a year ago, Eriksson looks like a much more natural C and more effective at creating and converting offensive chances.

Could slip in to round 1.
