To Toews' credit, he has looked great. Taking time off has helped.

He's 2 inches taller than Toews and only 5 lbs lighter. He could easily add 20 lbs and be what Toews is/was physically and more.

Ranger fan here. What i've seen him so far in big moments in these playins/Playoffs has been very impressive. Not intimidated. Uses his size very well already at only 19. Coach trusting him enough to play him with Kane.

I’ll try to speak for him because I think he had a valid point.

You are reacting to the end-result, not the initial thought process. Dach has benefited from playing in the NHL this season without a doubt. I think the regular season benefited him, and now he’s taking what he learned from an uneven rookie season to the playoffs where his game looks improved.

However, a lanky bigger skill forward without dominant junior production is not usually a player you should be sending right to the NHL. Most of the time it doesn’t work out.

He's played well but hasn't gotten on the board yet. I think he has to get some chemistry going with some linemates. Colliton has the blender out right now and is messing around with lines.
