Where’s the guy that was arguing a few months back that Dach should have been kept in junior this year? :laugh:

I’ll try to speak for him because I think he had a valid point.

You are reacting to the end-result, not the initial thought process. Dach has benefited from playing in the NHL this season without a doubt. I think the regular season benefited him, and now he’s taking what he learned from an uneven rookie season to the playoffs where his game looks improved.

However, a lanky bigger skill forward without dominant junior production is not usually a player you should be sending right to the NHL. Most of the time it doesn’t work out.

Dach has been very impressive though. Needs to shoot more, but no doubt that will happen with more experience and less deferring to the vets.
tbf I made this post before game 4, he wasn't quite as hot in the 4th
 
Players Offenbach from serious injury like Dach, take a while to get up to tempo. In the meantime he isn't made of Glass and will become a real physical Mahler in the wings.
