Belchetz not the only 16 year-old rookie off to a hot start in Windsor - JC Lemieux has 3 goals and 6 points in 6 game with 5 PIM and a +4.

Per our own @GermanSpitfire in his OHL draft look ahead earlier this year:

To be honest, I thought he was QMJHL eligible so I didn’t give him much though in regards to the OHL draft. I’d say he’s somewhat similar to Anthony Spellacy in that he has great skating, and can be a pain in the ass to play against. He has questionable decision making but you’re going to love how hard this kid plays, rarely takes a shift off.

Average size but seems to play a hard-charging game that has allowed him to settle very quickly in the OHL. Definitely seems like one to watch. Any OHL observers with early thoughts?

I thought he was good at the WHC17. One of the few Canadians who I hadn't heard of that caught my attention.

He's a pain in the ass to play against. Definitely see that in how he plays. I was wondering a little watching if he might be related to Claude.

Has real offensive skill and decent skater. Think he has a chance to be somewhere between a late first to late second in 2026.
