Been thinking about creating a thread for a while now - one of the top players out of the Alliance this year. Had a 7 point night last night in a 7-2 win against Brantford- giving him 17 in 4 games this season, a 4 point per game pace early on. For comparisons sake - Ryan Roobroeck has 15 points in 7 games so far this season.
Nesbitt is a great skater for his size already at 15, he has very good vision and skill - being able to compete against most everyone in his age group - he‘s quite proficient in front of the net. It should be interesting to see where he goes in the OHL draft and how he plays moving forward.

Kareem Ramadan—If you haven’t heard of Jack Nesbitt yet, it’s time to take notice. The hulking centre’s emergence has been one of the big storylines in the early part of the OHL season and a major reason for Windsor’s rise as one of the best teams in the CHL. Nesbitt is an impressive puck handler with the offensive instincts to match his hands. Concerns over Nesbitt’s skating are overblown; his mechanics are fluid, and once he reaches top speed, he is a lot to handle at his size. Nesbitt thrives below the dots, using his size to protect the puck and attack the middle of the ice. He shows advanced patience and playmaking instincts, waiting for teammates to attack open pockets before threading a pass. His excellent combination of size, skills, and willingness to compete in the hard areas of the ice are why we have ranked Nesbitt as aggressively as we have, and he could very well climb even higher in our midterm rankings if his play continues.

A lot of lists have him in the mid 20s now. Up to 54 points in 57 games and over 20 goals.

He may already be 6'4 but only about 185 pounds, realistically will be on 25 more pounds of muscle. I can why teams would be excited about that

To my knowledge he’s also a pretty raw prospect.

Will be interesting to see where he is in a year or two

Probably the player in the first round who moves up most in a redraft. Nesbitt was I guy I really liked during the OHL draft process. So much so I had him as my 8th rated player going into that draft. There are reasons he fell to 20th on draft day, consistently issues, he really cooled off in the second half of the season before he got drafted, speaking and effort, and some off ice issues that have been resolved since. Skating although still not great, has improved quite a bit over the past 2 years. Has shown a more competitive side of him at the OHL level and has really turned it on offensively for the Spitfires this year. I do like him as a prospect in the second round, although I fully expect him to go in the first round come draft day. Great turnaround for this prospect.
