Whenever I watch Lodnia I'm impressed by his play, but you have to wonder about using a late first/early second (which is where he seems to be ranked) on a smaller guy with those numbers. 2 points in 22 playoff games isn't very stellar.

Yeah, he usually looks very impresive to me. And I know his ice time has been reduced to bottom-6 minutes these playoffs but 2 points is definitely concerning...

He hit a bit of a wall and played on a checking line for the majority of the playoffs. He'll get a ton of ice time next season with Erie losing 4 of their top 6 forwards (Strome, DeBrincat, Cirelli, Foegele) and could be in for a big season. His even strength scoring during the regular season was still pretty impressive, I think he's worth a mid/late 2nd.

Getting 3rd line defensive minutes with Pettit (boat anchor) as his center, no surprise. He's not getting PP1 minutes either when DeBrincat/Strome/Raddysh are ahead of him in the lineup, he will explode offensively when he gets more ice time and offensive freedom.

Someone will draft him in the 2nd or maybe even 3rd round and they'll end up with a steal.

I think he'll have a very big year next year. Super value for the second round.

Really like what I've seen so far, great hands and good hockey IQ. Next year will be huge for him with more responsibility. Could explode offensively if placed on a line with T. Raddysh.

I could see Erie stacking their first line next season and leaning on them heavily, the rest of their lineup will mostly be younger guys needing time to develop. Maksimovich-Lodnia-Raddysh would dominate.

Was part of the stacked Erie Otters team (15-17), when he was playing in the OHL. - top 9 guy with some PP ice time
In his final year as an Otter, Otters wasn't that powerhouse team anymore and Lodnia finished 2nd in Otters scoring.

Played last 2 years in the OHL for Niagara IceDogs, last year, in a top line role, finished 1st in IceDogs scoring.

Has played for pretty big junior, bantam, teams/programs, Bell Tire, Honeybaked, Brick Invitational, USA-S age groups,
USNDP, Hlinka/Gretzky, Erie Otters.....Never got drafted to the NHL thou.

Its not like he is some super small, terribly skating player, he is 6 feet tall, about 200 pounds
nor does he lack in skill either.

Interesting see will he develop to an NHL level player, potential for that he has thou.
