The player he fashions his game after is Patrice Bergeron. If he comes to the NHL as a 2 way, 200 ft Center. And his points are respectable. I would not be disappointed in him.

Eh, taking that into account, drafting him higher than 45th might have been a reach.

We will wait and see. But the production seems pedestrian to me at least (I’m not a scout though so what do I know lol).

As @FrankGallagher said on the 1st page, the understanding of production in the MHL is very lacking among people, which is why his production might look "pedestrian" to lots of people.

I've heard this before. Right now I don't much Bergeron in his game. I think Spiridonov has more of that 2 way play.

Good to hear. I wasn't worried about his slow start, but this is nevertheless a good update. Always thought the kid was a late first rd talent.
