Marco Rossi went top-10 in a deeply regarded draft, so probably no. Although he has 2 seasons to change that I guess

Yeah; he’s definitely highly regarded at this point and is a potential first rounder. But things can and will change between now and the 2023 draft.
First round seems a bit far-fetched to me. Admittedly haven't seen very much of him, but he rather seems like a potential pick starting round 3 or so. As of right now of course.

Yeah, it can be hard to judge with prospects from outside the big 6/7 hockey country’s. We’ll see but he definitely looks promising.

Somehow I doubt it, though it would be worth a shot from my point of view. Nevertheless his numbers didn't improve much throughout the season and he didn't play too much U20. Guess Austria will stay with a very similar lineup.
Since Kasper and Rohrer aren't participating at the WJC, Scherzer is in the preliminary team right now. Will be interesting to see if he makes and cut and if he does how he will perform.

He plays on Austria’s 1st power play unit and has already picked up an assist in the game against Germany. Austira obviously holds him in high regard since he is a double underager for this tournament.

He actually might rise thanks to this. Been good in that small sample size and truthfully some scouts won't watch more of him than this.

David Reinbacher and Ian Scherzer - just a couple of players that are very important to the future of Austrian hockey.
Hoped he'd have a better start into the season. So far no points in 6 games for the J20 team.
Has anyone more infos on him like how he's been actually playing? Last game he was only on the 4th line which also doesn't look promising to me.
