Was the top Saskatchewan player picked in last years Bantam draft by Lethbridge at 14th overall but had a top 5 skill set and wouldn've went higher if he wasn't probably going the college path. Is still open to signing with Lethbridge in the WHL but plan atm is to play for the NTDP as his mother is American so he's a dual citizen. Really good skater with high end puck skill and very smart player. Has a solid shot with a quick release but does struggle against physicality so going the Junior A-College path is probably better for him as he might struggle with the heavy style of the WHL like Oremba is. Off to a very hot start in his rookie Midget AAA year with 20 points in 9 games which is super impressive. We'll see where he ends up playing next year

Didn’t know that about NTDP. Exciting player.

Hopefully he decides to play in the WHL, he's looking like he could be a great player. His production this year in the SMAAAHL is slightly better than Catton had.

Invited to NTDP camp, as expected. Always weird to see Canadians on the NTDP team, regardless, he's a great player and a lock to make the team, in my opinion.

I think it’s a better development environment to progress in as a player than most CHL teams, but as someone who is dual myself I would have a difficult time going to play for the states despite growing up in canada

Honestly, I don’t think there’s a cooler junior experience than the NTDP – except for the fact that it’s American.

I don't think he's the level of player the Canadians are going to be upset they lost.

He's okay, at best. High level hockey sense. Good playmaker, but he doesn't really have elite skill. And the skating needs work for 5'10.

I think he gets drafted, but to be more than like 4th or 5th round he has real work to do.

A few of your takes on players from the U17s I find quite off, including this one. He's a very good skater even at his size and has elite puck skills and shot. His biggest issue is consistency and motor/physicality. Can become too perimeter at times and invisible for large stretches of games but then flashes his skill
