This guy had a very good WHC-17 tournament. Big center at 6'2 172 with good wheels, a good 200 foot game, and a good amount of skill. At this point it looks like he has a good chance to be a first round pick.

IIRC his father is a famous athlete in Russia? I could have that wrong but I think Lazutin from an early age has been looked at as a kid with big potential because of his athletic genes...

His father is not famous, but he is athlete. But his mother is Larisa Lazutina who has 5 olympic gold medals in skiing and a lot of smaller prizes.

Does he remind anyone else a little of Guskov? Had a lot of hype early on because he’s an athletic center with some puck skills and skating, but the hockey sense and playmaking is really lacking to have high upside.
