It seems crazy with the new rules that a guy with AHL experience can now turn around and be an NCAA freshman.

Guessing he's been told by Winnipeg they aren't signing him.

As long as he was on an ATO that did not pay him more than necessary expenses, he should be eligible to play.

I remember YEARS back when Levis committed to Michigan before the commitment age rule changed, only to sign with Kamloops. Certainly a lot of things have changed for Levis and the hockey world since then.
