i know that he is 18 and a rookie, so inconsistency is an issue but man
when he is having a bad game, not scoring, its really bad.

11 games 0+0 -11 (0.00 ppg)
18 games 12+12 -4 (1.40 ppg)

i have been happily surprised how much he has been scoring though,
goals and points, was not expecting this much production, 30+ goals 65+ point pace
really impressive from 5 foot 9 rookie center.

I have no idea what you're trying to show here. Of course a player's points per game is 0.00 in games they don't score a point. Should it be higher somehow?

Nathan Mackinnon
6 games 0 + 0 (0.00 ppg)
23 games 12 + 29 (1.78 ppg)

You could do this with literally any player.

He's probably better than Marner right now

IIRC, Stamkos said that McDavid was better than him while he was a prospect and McDavid stepped in and finished #3 in points-per-game as a rookie

If he lives up to the hype like McDavid, Bedard is a 100 point rookie in this high scoring environment

Yeah, this was quite the reach.

Started the WHC with 5+1 in 3 games. And then just one assist in 5 games. Lack of luck or he just didn't play well?
He has not played well. He seems lost. He is the 13th forward and it is well deserved.

Of course, he's 18 so... He'll be more than fine.

Really odd situation. He looked like he really was a U20 player in men's tournament. And on the other hand he had a great rookie year in the NHL and didn't look out of place. Of course that's clear that he needs to find speed and toughness to compensate his size.
