Alexander Zetterberg at eliteprospects.com

Set the all-time u-16 Elit points and P/GP record for a player under 14 last year... now, very few 13 year olds have ever played at that level for a decent # of games, and only 10 years of records, but that in itself seems notable. Though his scoring for his age in the u-16 2nd tier was just "okay".

Of course, a lot can happen in four years, but seems like someone who could come out high in prospect lists as we get closer to the 2024 draft.

Also a relative of Henrik apparently. Second cousin.

His brother Adrian is also a prospect, two years older and going into J18 Elit full-time this year after being one of top 10 guys in u-16 Elit scoring wise. Was also a captain at TV-Pucken.

Having a great season for Timra's U18 team. 5th in terms of points on the team. 9 goals in 14 games. Is playing with his brother. Indeed related to Henrik. Plays center. Don't see him becoming a 6 foot ish player, but the pedigree is there.

Who knows, could maybe get some U20 games under his belt this year. Excited to monitor his progression.

If he could get to Henrik's size it would be enough but his older brother is 17 and only 5'8. It is not likely he grows too much more but you never know

Its possible. Quinn and Jack Hughes and I believe their father are all 5'10", but Luke Hughes is 6'2" and already 180 two months into being 18yo

Nobody expected Zetterberg to grow and that's how Detroit stole him.

Also he's worth drafting just for the beard potential alone.

Easily the most productive U17 player in J20 right now, averaging about a PPG for Orebro. (17 points - second is Sigrell with 5). Seems like he's been on the radar for a while now as a big talent. He's not quite at Dvorsky/Raymond/Holtz level J20 production for his age but he's pacing comparable to that second-tier guys like Stenberg, the Djurgarden kids from last year, Rosen, etc.

Big issue projecting out seems to be his size? Hopefully he grows a bit more.

I think you've got it exactly right.

He's very good, but small. If he's 5'10/5'11, he's a definite first round pick. He might be one without growing much because he's that good in like every part of the game. Very skilled, can skate, very competitive center. I found him to be the best current player on the Swedish WHC17 team, but you notice the lack of size right away.

BU is a recruiting machine. Will be a fun team to watch and the Swedes seem to be noticing this can be their route to the NHL.

Probably worth a 2nd if he keeps producing on Sweden U18 top line this tournament. Small but the skill is there. Going to BU will likely help him out a lot.
