Määttä played 1 shift in whole tournament but i'd see that Saarela has very good chance to play at the WJC especially after the statements that Karri Kivi gave for media.
Something like "The guy probably needs to go find his Swedish-Finnish dictionary."

Nice goal against KHL team. He has been red hot at preseason games. Let's see that if he can bring it into regular season and stay consistent. Young players usually has deep slumps at somepoint of the season.
He realy sounds impressive! wish I could see all hes goals from the preeseason, anyone who actually watched hes games or a few of them and can tell us more about hes games, the goals and so on? I would like to hear how hes strenth is compared to hes oponents to. I follow him at Instagram and he has some Pictures there where you just can tell he has a lots of muscles.. looks like a beast

Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous shot for a 16 year old. Saarela reminds me of Joe Sakic as a player type. I won't say that he is going to be as good because i think that Sakic was a unique player but compare their actual playing style and the shot too.

His goal came off a breakaway, goalie made the initial save but he scored from his own rebound.

Hardly.
And regarding overhyping finnish prospects, it really is rather early to say wether it's been offboards or not. Barkov nor Teräväinen haven't played a game in NHL yet and Granlund is still learning. Besides I really doubt the scouting agencies could care much about what's being said in the hfboards dot com while Saarela's name's been up there in the lists for a while now.
