Every time he scored 60 goals, the year after he looked very average 40 goal scorer

I'll be concerned if we are still this disjointed by the end of the month.

I feel like this team, under this core, always sucks late October/early November. And every year the fanbase has a meltdown about it.

BUT, I think this year the leafs just don't have it. The core aren't kids anymore. The core aren't "getting better" every year anymore.

We simply don't have enough cap space to fill out the team. The end.
