A lot of people loves to shit on Samsung TVs, but the ones I bought over the years have been very reliable. One of them lasted 15 years.

The one I’m watching now, 55 inch was bought in 16 years ago. And it was just a midrange model. No issues ever.

Any tips on buying a really good TV?

I bought a Sony a couple years back lasted two years just after warranty expired.

Paid $2500 for the big screen high quality picture experience so I'm kind of gun shy right now.

TCL tvs are pretty good and relatively cheap.

Been seeing him on TV since 2011ish.

Has to be quite old but doesn't look to bad for 50+

Samsung does seem to be more reliable.
I have two in my house right now just looking at Costco prices and will probably bite the bullet for that big screen again.

Just hope it gets delivered before the wife gets home.

The top lines seem more likely to break in my experience. Most companies make pretty reliable products now. LG Samsung mainly
