Too early for Horvat to put on a letter. He first needs to become a reliable everyday NHLer that isn't a -40.

What I can't figure out is why some team trying to get the cap floor wouldn't be interested in either of Burrows/Higgins......if retired Marc Savard and Bryan Bickell can be traded, you'd think the Canuck duo would be of more interest...But why does it seem that every other team in the NHL can do those kind of deals except the Canucks?

Because we can't afford to be giving up 2nd round picks or prospects like Teravainen to make those sort of deals happen?
