July 06 DOB. He’s on an “A” card.

Must have confused him for someone else but the situation remains the same. He hasn’t played 10 games and it is unlikely London signed him to a full card. Maybe they did but that would likley be a little silly considering how handcuffed they were for roster space.

Early January birthday. He is in his 17 year old season (D+2). He’s an ‘07. That’s what I meant.
Fimis is an 06

If your on a b card you usually have a shield on

It is probably a moot point anyway. I cannot see them signing Fimis to a full card as a 17 year old rookie with zero games played in the OHL. MAybe they did but that would seem VERY odd.
Everyone in here is arguing over the wrong player. In the London forum people believe Bidgood is on a B card. played games at the start of the season and over the WJC break, has been wearing a cage for his most recent games and has been listed on the gamesheets lately with a (FA) beside his name for farm affiliate.

London fans believe there is still 1 card available with Fimis being on a A card.

Time will tell!

Yes. He is possible. The one period I totally forgot about was the early season NHL camp period. He lines up a lot of games over that stretch. I totally glossed over him because he has 17 games not thinking to look at the early season games through mid-October.

I think this is accurate.

My guess is that the league probably has a decent grasp on the rules, far beyond the sherlock holmes' of the hockey forum world.

Oct 17 was the cut odd date for all teams it’s not done by individual teams. Games before this date do not count towards a card
I thought it would be when all players are back with their team and not the cutoff date. Anyone know if this is the case?
Seems odd that the league would allow you play your B players when you have a full roster back and not have the game carded.

Last year was like this too. Most of the big deals happened from the 7th to the 9th. The 10th was fairly quiet.

It's my memory that's failing then. Lol.
Ottawa hasn't unloaded any players yet? Maybe it's just that the names haven't been as expected.

Ryan McGuire back as the Storm's third OA after trading Budnick.
Guelph has had an odd time with their OA's this year, Budnick starting in the ECHL before returning which sent McGuire to Caledonia and now he's back. Hey, at least they all played/no healthy scratches.

Trade deadline is done how do the top 7 rank now (on paper)? My 2 cents:

1) Oshawa
2) Barrie
3) Kingston
4) Sudbury
5) Niagara
6) Brampton
7) Brantford

Definitely feels like top 3 are tier 1 and then next 4 are tier 2.

Brampton is still 3rd best team IMO if they get their act together but might not have time to get there in the standings
