Sounds like a lot of GM's need to rethink their asking price or be content with keeping their players until they finish their careers on their team.
I think there have been a few deals agreed to, but NTC are preventing them from being completed.

Long rumored, finally complete.

its not my trade, it was posted on the kingston thread but i think its correct, 15 picks and 2 average 07s for 3 players
I'm not sure it's even fair to call Weir "average" at this point. He has not played much, so hard to really tell but it's been largely underwhelming/below average. Vellaris could be a decent ohl d-man, I think his decision making with the puck under pressure is a big hole in his game at the moment.

if wier was going to be a good player, kingston woudlnt have kept kelly or brought in pickell.

Griffin must be involved ? They only have 1 2nd and 1 3rd? You would think they would've shopped for a capable/experienced BUG.
They could in theory send the exact same picks to Ottawa for Pinelli as they did to Soo for Gibson.

Though I don't think Pinelli gets as much.

With the big adds in the east thus far, does a team like Brantford decide to sell and put Lardis on the market?
There are some big pieces still left on the table that could make a huge impact for teams, Brantford has players they can trade, and the most picks available out of all teams in the CHL.

The question is whether front office believes it’s worth it.

Strong roster that’s been under performing (or at least that’s what the W/L show), but the potential is there.

My personal opinion - still being new to Brantford, looming ownership change - they show a level of commitment to the city and continue to build hype around the team and go for it. They could do so, and still be in decent shape for next year.

I sort of think the new owner would want to make his splash next year in his first full year of ownership.

I could see that too - but with the apparent announcement to come later this month, maybe he’ll feel apart of it this year?

How fun to hang a championship banner in your first year as owner…and ticket sales (not that it’s been hard to fill a barn of 3000), even easier.
