Very reasonable price from Barrie's perspective. Romani's value was obviously quite low due to injury concerns. Getting 2 impact players for no picks is a pretty slick move.

North Bay adds another 08 first rounder to an already impressive group.

Some rumours involving Ottawa (Pinelli) with Barrie, Kitchener, and Brantford over the last couple of days. Barrie is clearly off th board. Headrick and O’Donnell both in the lineup for their respective teams this afternoon. Had there been a trade solidified between Ottawa and either of those teams involving an ‘08, you’d think they’d be scratched.

Waiting on the Oshawa lineup to be submitted to see if Brady Smith is in it. He’s the rumoured piece in a rumoured Gibson trade with SSM.

Smith and Griffin out of the lineup for Oshawa. Looks like the SSM/OShawa deal involving Gibson is complete or at least close and expected to go down.

Smith and Griffin both sitting. I would expect that they have both been dealt to Sault Ste. Marie along with picks for Gibson and perhaps Mignosa as well.

It's a really, really nice fit for both teams if it goes down. The players fit the position and age group that the Hounds need. Oshawa gets 2 star level players and can recoup most of the picks they give up by dealing Mignosa as an OA.

We shall see if there is a late scratch in either the Kitchener or Brantford game today. There is another team I have heard involved in Pinelli but it wouldn’t involve an ‘08. It would be primarily picks.

Brampton I’d assume.

I've seen Kingston mentioned with Pinelli which tracks with primarily picks.

A Rehkopf style deal. But there still is one more team out there with interest that I know of. Doesn’t’ seem like a good fit unless it is a two part deal with a player shooting back to Ottawa in the offseason.

- north bay and Barrie are back on the Romani train and I think it’s done. Marek report g it. No trade was finally waived.

-Gibson to Oshawa I believe for Griffen and picks but we’ll see

-smith trade to Missy fell apart on a no trade. Brantford pushing for him, Windsor dropped out once the price was established. Still think Missy.

-flint has talked about a musty deal but Sudbury asking for a lot. so t see it happening.

-flint will buy somehow

Barrie gave up their past two first picks for a top, top line. I think the take away here is NB was not greedy with picks in addition to top young talent.

So in other words, there is nothing new other than recycling what others already reported and making up a fictional story about Sudbury like you always do. Thanks for that.
Said it was Smith for Gibson yesterday, now it's Griffin. Bob has carte blanche from a mod to post fictional rumours, but never provides any unique information that isn't already out there.

It's crazy how bitter people get about people posting things...

It's almost like trades involve negotiations and things can change...

And the irony of it all is that one guy calling it out will post provable lies about Gibson yet when called out on it just puts you on ignore 🤷

Pretty sure we will hear the SSM OSH trade announced tomorrow.

I’m still confident we see two Soo players heading to Oshawa, I’m not confirming that though by saying that..

I’ve seen a certain poster say Soo is getting Smith for Gibson then in another post say Soo is getting Griffin. It is possible he’s still 100% right, if Soo gets both 🙊

well, Konnor smith I believe will be a steelhead I believe, they worked through it. Different forward, younger and 5/6 picks.

I mean I think I had the Barlow deal to the pick and pretty much most others at the dealing last year, certainly not all.

struggle with this Oshawa deal is the ntc stiff, one day you hear a kid will waive, another you hear he won’t. I’m 100 percent sure that he’s going to Oshawa thou,

And still nothing on the Pinelli front… baffling.

The rumours I’ve heard is Bulldogs but it seems like a situation that’s changing often, which is probably why there hasn’t been anything concrete put out

Also “that Soo” guys doesn’t run Scoops and this is legitimate concrete proof that this certain poster can and is wrong. Unwilling to accept any idea that insinuates that what he knows is wrong at times. It’s actually funny.

I have a hard time believing that Konnor Smith will go for a young player and 6 picks, but nice job by Dale DeGray if they actually get it. They would have essentially gotten him for free last year if that's the case.

There is absolutely nothing confident out there to be honest. I really don’t think Boyd has anything done.

Why would that be surprising?
