I am getting sick of Butch overusing the term toy department. It does not make sense in this day, the days of the stand alone department store with the toy department on another floor are over (A & S, TSS, Sterns, Mays...) It is annoying and he has been more annoying than ever.

Not far from where I live is a hardware store that has their seasonal stuff in the basement and on the 2nd floor is... the toy department.

I think 40 years ago , oh g-d, was the black and white tv . Mine was a 13" . ( TV ) Isles on WOR channel 9. Staying up for the 11pm start from LA on a school night and barely staying awake for 1 period. The Kings had those purple uniforms. Long live King Kong Korab.

30 - 40 years ago was need I say Sportschannel. The cable box with the push buttons and the up or down channels. 16 up and 16 down and the long brown wire back to the box on the tv. If you pushed the perfect 2 buttons in at the same time you might be lucky enough to watch a few minutes of free porn before it scrambled up again.
I agree that 30 years ago SHOULD be when goalies wore no masks . I was 13,14,15,16 when we won our cups. Great time to be a kid on Long Island .

You call it laughs , I call it the mute button. For me it's the rambling on. There have been a few times he rambles so long and can't complete a sentence , there is a short pause , then he just says the word scenario and hands it over to Brendan.
On Dec 20th 1980 the Jets beat the Dolphins 24-17. I watched it on TV. NO ANNOUNCERS. What a great game to watch
