I was probably conceived in the back of a Pontiac at the parking lot of Ezzies.
What year were you born because I have to do some math here.

Maybe Saskatoon?Ezzies in Lloydminster? Asking for a “friend”.
The fact that those emails came out and he didnt lose his job shows how much of a second rate league this is.Does anyone else remember the Campbell Files?
Are we supposed to think things have changed at all since then?
I agree I think the silly logic is... Okay we can't call 200 penalties a game everytime a little face wash was done. Ok that one was a bit excessive penalty. The NHL is so bizarre.
There are countless plays which are penalties as detailed in the rulebook. But there is only one which is called 100% of the time when it occurs, puck over the glass/delay of game.
And they wonder why they are a B tier sport.
No man, Gary logic says to grow the game in Florida where people are googling on their phone "rules for overtime".So last season, I remember the SCF viewership was the highest its been since 2009 Pittsburgh Detroit.
Game 1 this year, tripled, yes tripled the amount of viewers compared to last years game 1, making it the highest viewed SCF game 1 in over 16 years. The world wants to witness McDavid lift that Trophy

JPL is a special place. Dad (RIP) and my older brother worked there lots as Stone Masons. I was too young and in School. They Did all the fireplaces in the cabins, a lot of the stone and brickwork(downstairs) in the main lodge. Dad had been working in Jasper since the 50's, was his favorite place to work because he could do 12hrs and then in the evening drop a line in a river or lake and catch trout dinner. JPL were very good to workers and they had better than the Staff accommodations. They had barbecues and everything and put on big fish cookouts and some of the guests would come over for some.Jasper, that brings back memories. My brother-in-law was a controller for the Four Seasons hotel in Edmonton back in the early 80's. That hotel had an arrangement with the Jasper Park Lodge to provide free lodgings to the management groups of each establishment. My husband and I travelled from Ottawa to Edm to visit them for 2 weeks, my sister was pregnant at the time. We spent a weekend at the Lodge: beautiful rooms, breathtaking scenery and amazing food. We were in one of their cabins, room service was delivered on bicycles. Their lounge was featuring a live band where the lead singer performed amazing impersonations of various singers, including females. He dressed each part and sounded exactly like them. I remember he did ZZ Top, Tina Turner, etc.. He was so good, we went the next night to see them again. That's a place I'd like to visit again.
I’ve probably seen over 10 clips from
various players saying the exact same thing, and very few have any connection with the Oilers. Still sort of amazed (not really) that the league just pushed on with their pro Bennett agenda.
View from Cosm in LA. Quite the neat venue.
I miss Stecher too. The thing is, I cannot trust Nurse - Kulak.. but as you say, who can be taken out?
This game had some good, some bad. Bad would include Nurse - Kulak on the Marchand goal. Connor Brown looked rusty and kind of un-engaged. And holy cow, that Florida forecheck is intense! The Oilers have not faced a club like this yet, this year.
Am I the only one who thought the third Florida goal was offside?
Good is the club's resiliency, as usual. Got a little lucky to get that PP in overtime, but they were pretty dominant in overtime anyway.

Doesn't there have to be a fight for there to be a third man? There were no fighting penalties or even co-incidentals.Oilers ended up 4-3 in penalties. They got one in OT.
The tripping on McDavid was a joke. It wasn't even a trip. Nurse deserved a hook on Barkov after he got beat.
Evander deserved a 3rd man for a straight arm
Simultaneously, lots of clutching and grabbing by Fla. They missed a hook on Kappys 2nd breakaway. The interference thing was a joke, he fell into him.
Dude, stop whining. There was a poll for worst fans in NHL. TO came up the most. Oilers were like 3rd.
So please, stop embarrassing us w/ your constant whining
That needs to be here
Maybe they weren't wearing their lederhosen so they couldn't find them. How weird is it that this wasn't even shown? They show McD's parents every game they attend. Didn't even know Leons parents were there. Is he a footnote?
This is Leon with another monster game scoring half our goals. Telecast didn't mention once, either, that it was his 49th and 50th career playoff goals. For Modern players only Mackinnon is slightly ahead at 53 goals.
This might be the best thing I’ve ever seen. You can scope it 360.
An hard open ice hit right to the chin on Bennett from Kane can fix that….Enjoyed this summary. To my eye we looked nervous in the first half of the game despite the early goal. To win that game, coming from behind to take the series lead, calm the butterflies and settle into the series, is massive. We know we can be better, the question now is, can Florida?
My only concern is Bennett. A well-timed knee or dirty elbow can change the complexion of this series very quickly and it's not like we can expect the league to do anything but look the other way no matter what happens. Protecting yourself out there is a skill like any other. The boys better remember that.
