Post-Game Talk: Built. Different.

I was worried about @Drivesaitl having a heart attack or perhaps filling his pants with shitte when Skinner casually played the puck deftly with one hand on stick!
haha. I was completely calm before, during game, and during OT. feels inevitable this year.

Oilers have won every OT game this postseason. Now at 4-0. Oilers are so good to begin with but when any team shows that kind of OT runs as well they end up winning cup.

That said Skinners first misplay on a puck in first 40secs had me rolling eyes.

Maybe I'm smoking a little of how Vegas and Dallas went down but the Oilers just took over. Gonna be real hard for Florida to find traction if Oilers close out the homestand here. Team over there is nursing some injuries and we're healthier this year.
And when looking at the Ice time Oilers least iced player had 5-7 more minutes than Floridas whole third line. Look what that did to the Kings in the first round...

The teams attitude has shifted big time this playoffs. They are just carrying themselves differently.

Connor and Ek barely celebrated that goal.

On the OT winner Draisaitl kept it cool. Another goal. Another win. Jobs not done.

IIRC The Athletic had the Panthers heavily favoured last year. This year without the Hyman injury it was going to be basically 50/50 but Zach being hurt gives the edge to Florida.

They did say, though Florida's forecheck is super aggressive and a large reason for their success, that this year they haven't faced a D corps that can move the puck as well as the Oilers.

I think we need to have as many puck movers on D as we can. I think Klingberg got better and in the 3rd and OT, couple of troubling moments aside, the breakouts were probably better than last year

This is how my dog acts when someone is at the door

Shout outs to the crowd tonight for winding up hits on forechecks too lol. Hilarious seeing Kane or Podkolzin closing in on somebody and the crowd gradually getting louder and louder the closer they get. Was like they were very slowly watching a goal unfold.
Podz laid some hits ? I was listening to radio
