Post-Game Talk: Built. Different.

Zero images of Panthers "watch party". Wonder why?

There are. Here it was in full swing

He's skilled and physical. I thought he was more of a dangling creampuff that they thought might provide some offense on the 4th line in limited minutes. But he's been playing like a mini-Hyman.
Nah he's got game and tenacity. He's not weak. But its textbook account of players all making themselves be the best they can be when they are on a club that can win it all. Players elevate, we see it through the lineup.

All of Bowman's personal additions looking good. We're going to give Walman a fat freaking extension and I am about it.

Underrated part of this game was Skinner intercepting the dump in like 10 times.
Interesting tidbit from the panel. When Chicago was winning all those cups and teams were getting “bigger”- Scotty Bowman told his son to build a back end that can move the puck. That’s what he did here

Yep. This is the best possible game Bennett can play. Panthers completely squandered it and in realtime I was saying Barkov cost the Panthers this as he was botching chance after chance. Then Barkov gets clocked in OT for the winner. lol

Plus Ekblad was made to skate miles in this game and eating all the punishment. Ekblad has to do so so much for this Panthers club.
Kapanen hits the way Peca hit. I can’t explain it- but it’s such a heavy hit.

Leafs fans cheering for y'all. Great game of hockey. With that said, this is why being a Canadian market is such a disadvantage.

First of all, no Carlina Hurricane analyst would do a podcast and talk about how Aho cheats on the faceoff or some other dumb peculiar shit like that.

Second of all, even if they did, it would gain no traction and no one would give a shit.

But it's Edmonton and a Canadian market. So you have the refs turning the game into football with the amount of stops and starts and delays on the faceoff. Refusing to drop the puck, phantom dropping it repeatedly, re-doing them, constantly kicking someone out.

It was wayyyyyy more than normal. Refs making it about themselves. Idk how these guys do it bc I woulda been losing my mind. You could see RNH spazzing at the ref. So annoying how some analyst can impact the game from their bedroom or little studio.
