As long as they hold the fort, they don't have to score tons. We have McD and Draisaitl and enough depth to afford a couple of players going without a goal for a few games. Perry was mostly queit against Dallas, then got 2 goals in two games

Ya that was a HUGE psychological stab in the minds of Florida... their goalie held them in there and they gave up the lead and lost.

That will haunt them a little... and it's games like that that create doubt... and in a close series that mental edge is huge and Oilers have it right now.

Florida was outshot 24-8 in the third and OT period after EDM clawed back and tied it 3-3.

All playoffs even in those early shitty games against the Kings, the Oilers got better as the games wear on. They always seem to feel their way into their games then, like a freight train, once they gain full steam they're tough to stop. The Panthers controlled that 2nd period but it was ALL Edmonton after that.

He was excellent. Walman is big part of this team, I love what he brings.

Beautiful skater to watch, strong shot, can absolutely lower the boom on people, and he’s got a great first pass.

Dude kane was literally hitting everything

He set the tone absolutely burying PEDblad with a monster hit. He kept it up throughout the entire game, and Podkolzin also got his licks in. Pretty sure we won the hit ratio. We'll need everyone to win it and for the most part, everyone brought it when it counted.

Good comparison. McLeod had the size and speed to be an absolute menace driving to the net but absolutely refused to do it.

I’m in the same boat. For my money Kulak had the worst night of the group along with Nurse but obviously neither of these guys are sitting out. Previously I had Stecher over Klingberg but now I’m not so sure. There’s probably something to be said about Kulak getting to play on his proper side if Stecher were to play with Nurse but idk

Yep. This is the best possible game Bennett can play. Panthers completely squandered it and in realtime I was saying Barkov cost the Panthers this as he was botching chance after chance. Then Barkov gets clocked in OT for the winner. lol

Plus Ekblad was made to skate miles in this game and eating all the punishment. Ekblad has to do so so much for this Panthers club.

He played over 30 mins … oilers can and should grind them down

I give him a lot of shit but Stuart Skinner won that game for the Oilers. He was solid!

I was too nervous to post during the game.

Now that I'm here, and as Chief Operating Officer of the Skinner Hater's Club, let me just say that he was an absolute rock tonight. He had no chance on any of the goals, and he was dialed in, and gave the team everything they needed tonight.

Overall the team played excellently. If they keep this up, they will get it done.

I love our community here at HF Oil. What a pleasure to experience the ups and downs of this season with you guys.
