Good news guys. As the tickets are ridiculously expensive for Sunday games in Chicago, I decided against spending money I don't have, so there is a small chance that we actually win tomorrow.

I have to ask; are the Jets fans at the game always this annoying against random teams? Booing the captain, cheering for the opposing goalie after a save. I mean I can understand doing it to a rival team, but against every team that gets a little disturbing. Enjoyable game anyway.

The answer is yes to everything. Have a great night.

Yup: positioned properly, that does not go in.

Ah well - 2pts, and another ROW. Tomorrow will be a very interesting test.

Y I've settled down now, don't remember who I was hot at the most, the leafs, leaf fan base, Pavs, CBC......okay it was CBC!

That third soft goal let in by Pavs was the worst (leafs game tie'ng goal) Pavs should have been tight to the post and it's not a goal plain and simple.

It's easy to say that in hindsight but if he's tight to the post he's in worse position to handle another possible type of shot. It's not as though there is zero cost to being "tight to the post".

I did not honestly see any difference at all between those Jets and the Claude Noel Jets. It's exactly the way they usually win games. In fact, it was almost a carbon copy of the last Toronto game with the 4-1 lead shrinking to 4-3 after two and Kessel tying it up in the third.

That's a shame. The madhouse on Madison is a great place to watch a game.

Join date, 2008. You don't spend much time on here, do you? Atleast not the main boards?

As for the Buff thing, take me out to dinner and we can talk

Seriously though, Byfuglien may produce on D but he is a liability. It's not some kind of made up thing.

As much as I am happy that he scored in OT that doesn't change that fact.

to be fair, most of our dmen are liabilities...... (yes even Ellerby as much as i dont want to admit it)

Ugh - CBC broadcast was muted early on. Wasn't sure who the Leafs were playing tonight, but they got no love.

Ugh - three of Pavs goals were awful, just awful. Clear view of the puck just slow reactions. No way Kessel's should have gone in, the puck was on the right side the whole time - terrible positioning.

Don't blame Bogo for that play, three Leafs around him.

Thought the fourth line was out there a lot. Scary.

Didn't love the third line tonight either, though not mad at Olli for the miss given the angle.

Thank you Mr. Byfuglien.

I hope they get under opposing team's players as much as they apparently got under yours :)

The problem is I think his liabilities are overstated since they tend to be exaggerated due to his high profile and just more noticeable. He actually does a lot of little things right much better than a Ellerby for example. But he takes 5 more chances that result in 2 good things and 1 high profile bad thing. The bad thing on those chances gets exaggerated compared to the 2 good things AND the little things he does tend to go unnoticed, IMO.

Yes, but this franchise have a tendency to not even almost show up when I go to games. Spent a lot of money on school and buying a new computer early this year too, so I don't feel like I can afford it. Otherwise, I would have gone and watched the Jets not show up again!

Pavs sure looked skinny in the segment where they showed him talking with Flaherty on the bench before the game. He played well the first half and did enough for the win, Trouba with two beauties on him as two of them hit his stick on the way by, not sure how u think those are brutal goal bugs, redirections are tough to stop.
Buff sure rolled his eyes at Peacock at the fwrd question and then says ya its been fun. He sure hates his life there no doubt.
A win is a win and this team just looks like it's never down and out.

It's funny you say that, considering every statistical measure that correlates to success says that he isn't. So if it isn't some made up thing, I'd like to see something substantive that says otherwise. *shrug*

I really like the passion shown by Maurice. Each and every time Noel was shown after an victory it was like: "well, whatever".

Either way, two really important points. :handclap:

It's only annoying to the losing team I find. Seems like your a Leafs fan, so I can understand. :handclap:

Stuff like that can get under my skin as well when we lose.

Buff has a microscope, and all the other guys get the out-of-focus binoculars.
