Sounds like a lot of politicians feel a little burned by her. Listening to morning radio program out of TO. It was suggested she got well over 2 million in different grants and awards aimed solely for first nation artist. One of the was a conservative MP in the 80s and was saying that she filled out every form saying she was born on a reservation. What upset him the most was not just the federal and provincial monies she was awarded. Buy she got a lot of money from the private sector and she was approached about giving the money to actual first nations person's. He said she owns several houses including a multi million dollar house in Hawaii

Of all the messed up things going on right now in the world by a galaxy-class collection of malignant screw-ups that are exponentially more troubling than this, I just have no indignation left for Buffy. If FN people claim her, fine with me . She wouldn't be the first person to become the role she was playing, and she has done a lot of good.
