Missed the 3rd period.

Saw the hit on Richards. Disgusting.

What did Nash do that was so great? I'll have to watch the rest of the game tomorrow.

power play goal to give us the lead, assist on the first power play goal to tie the game, and led off the S/O with a goal.. There was more too:yo:

He was pretty meh through the first two periods, but, yeah, he dominated in the third period. He was Nash.

And he actually got a meaningful goal.

Rangers in 60 - do they even show the first period?

And good for Steve Ott - he checked in to see if Richards was okay (they were teammates in Dallas).

Awesome

Nash has been been so great this season.

I also have a feeling he will turn it on in the playoffs

Joe says things just to contribute sometimes. He does a good enough job to get a gig with NBC but then NBC brings you quality personalities like Milbury, McGuire, Emerick and a bunch of other duds.

Excuse me while I scoff.

If you didn't see the first period, don't worry, you didn't miss anything.

Asfor the game, meh, can the Rangers ever hit the net.

Buffalo is very unimpressive, amazing how the Rangers scored two quick goals when the other team couldn't pack it in around the goal as the Rangers cycle endlessly before losing the puck.

Am liking JT Miller's game a lot recently, the last two games he looks like a real NHLer. He may even score again if he gets to play with someone not named Brian Boyle.

Boyle is really pretty useless - he kills penalties OK, but we have lots of good PKers. He looked pathetic on that semi-breakaway on the PK where he got caught from behind.

And for G**"s sake, has any team ever missed the net more often.

On the plus side, Gaborik actually looked interested and useful. And Nash is awesome.

People should stop ******** on gabby in general. You have power forwards like Nash, who was a captain and has captain qualities. There are callys, no explanation required. Then there are gaboriks. We should know that by now. Inconsistencies are expected with gabby. So long as he shines once in a while and plays decent amd chip in most games and isn't totally useless or a liability, then he's doing just swell.

Ryan Callahan showing his apparent lack of skill in the shootout :sarcasm:

In honor of him being absolute money in the shootout, please rise for the national anthem of the United States of America

I just wanna be...
living with the brave and free
America's the land for the happy

I just wanna see
a land safe for you and me
And we'll f you up for the US of a

Oh this is america and if you f with us
we're gonna f you up
We'll bomb your ass
until there's nothing left
with which to peice your sh**hole back together

I just dare you to
Please cross the line
Because we'll just nuke you right back to the stone age

(I did that about two years ago and never finished the song)

Someone bring me a Callahan highlight montage set to Guile music.

NOW.

Would have loved to see McIlrath's reaction to Kaleta's hit.

Stepan was great tonight. Staal was fantastic. McD had a rare down game.

Everyone stay away from the threads regarding both hits on the main board. It's pretty much asking for an infraction.

Anyway, all the non-Nash names in the poll (ie: Del Nasho) made me laugh.

That's very peaceful and friendly...

The biggest issue offensively in the game was the Rangers pointmen constantly missing the net all night. It wasn't just a couple times, but almost EVERY time.

The Dmen were the biggest problem for our offensive issues in this game...

Can't wait for the Sabres to sit Kaleta next week. He'll only be suspended for 2 games at most. After the Pacioretty fiasco, I doubt anything happens.

We looked so lost out there in the 1st period, complete 180 from the Tampa Bay game. If it weren't for Brad getting slammed into the boards, I think we would've lost.

Except for those two bum penalties, Rick Nash looked like a beast. Our PP is starting to look better.
