Over the top kindness.

Yeah, they deserve it after having to put up with a garbage franchise and the second longest cup drought in the league. :naughty:

OH MY GOD THAT FELT SO GOOD.

And if anyone wants to see a joke, go back and read all the posts from "fans" after the Devils went down 0-2. I'd quote them all, but I'm not trying to call anyone out. TRUST IN THIS TEAM. That was one of the better sets of 3 periods this team has played all season. Keep playing like that and we're in for some wins.

That was a good shootout for him too. Moose was big finally.

Comeback win, this is the type of win we need to build off of against the former whale and the Jets

The former Whale and former Thrashers! Canes have no Cam Ward, but they do have Dan Ellis this weekend! We do look great when playing one of those! We might even get Justin Peters!

Also Kovy, what's the problem?

Henrique back in form, Elias on his way. Kovy, Zajac, you next.

I hope this is the turning point in the season...I'll laugh at all the experts on this board that predicted the demise of this team.

The 2 points are nice, but NJ looked pretty bad for large stretches of this game. And if not for that rebound gift from Enroth, the mood here would be far worse. If you ask me, Hedberg stole this game for them tonight. It really could have gotten away from them that second period.

Point is it didn't and you build off it. Need some confidence to build off of.

Oh, please. This team still blows, they just managed to stage a late game comeback against one of the worst teams in the league that was playing their backup against NJ. It's a win and that's great, but let's not forget the 55 minutes before NJ found the back of the net.

Is there no context when people analyze these games? Buffalo might have the worst record in the league but they are playing with playoff desperation. They know that they need to win virtually every game. You expect them to come out and just lay down? A guy like Vanek on any team is going to make them a threat on any given night. When you think about these bad team that the Devils have been losing to, they are pretty ****ing desperate for wins. They are playing with more desperation than any teams that are at the top of the standings.

In reality what do you expect to happen. OH golly gee quite possibly another loss guys.

Moose was a beast tonight. Still don't feel comfortable with him 3 games in 4 nights. I don't feel comfortable with Marty 3 games in 4 nights either though. They're both old guys in this sport!

Now our biggest challenge. Scoring the first goal of the game. Haven't done it since President's Day in the 2-1 shootout loss to Ottawa.
