I still think the team as is is talented enough to salvage.

I’m not really sure what their problem is.

I think they just lack an identity and direction and the culture of losing has rubbed off on and negatively impacted the talented players they do have.

The team seems like a random collection of guys who have some talent and have had success at lower levels but don't know how to win in the NHL.

Culture, Maturity and Toughness (mental and physical) are all lacking.
It's obvious there is no plan from the top down.

Their dump arena’s lease is up in 2027, which is right when the Alpharetta, GA rink is due to be finished.

TBH the problem is the club isn’t talented enough but management thinks it is. That’s a recipe for disaster. Move Power or Dahlin. To change the clubs direction (continued losing) will take a courageous trade.

If Buffalo is looking for a new head coach, Ten Hag is looking for a job

Firing Adams and replacing him with Jason Karmanos is such an obvious move to make but Pegula gonna Pegula.

Buffalo needs to find a former player or coach that's won it all and get them to build a vision around.

They have all the pieces they need to win, they just don't have the right collection of pieces.

Get a winner, get them to set a culture, go all on building a vision, and make it work.

Such a directionless mess. Tons of great pieces but no vision.

I thought they had a good chance to pick up some points. But they have in a streak even worse than the Rangers have been on.
