This is inspiring. This feels like an underdog sports movie, where the protagonist team faces early adversity, but then has the first taste of success against a team of chumps who look like they've never played the sport before which spurs confidence and an immediate montage of wins set to an 80s rock song.

The Sabres' being the team the protagonist team beats, of course.

Sabres continue to fill the arena with an average of 15k ppl per game. Similar numbers to NJD and NYI games.

Fan base deserves way better than this owner.

A lot of people aren't going to want to hear it, but it's the mostly correct call. Moves made now are going to make things worse not better.

Ride the year out, don't get baited by the inevitable post (realistic) elimination hot streak, and clean house in the Summer.

While i agree with the overall sentiment of your post, there isn't a "worse" for Buffalo. So perhaps trading guys and getting rid of passengers to show that it would be accepted is the better move.

Buffalo is literally at the bottom floor with where else to fall. No move they make can make them worse off than they are right now.

Get the revenue sharing money. That's it. He doesn't care about anything else.

He's turned the Sabres into the NHL's answer to the Pittsburgh Pirates: a farm team for actual professional sports franchises
Which is dumb when you see what the former TBL owner did, growing the value of the franchise by building a winner and perpetual contender.

As an Oilers fan you should know that things can always get worse. Always.

As bad as things are there are some good pieces in Buffalo and trading away any of the good players they do have, especially if they do it right now, absolutely would move the organization backwards. They've already learned this lesson the hard way a few times recently.

This team needs Dahlin back in a hurry. Since his injury they are 0-5-2 and they were up 4-0 or 4-1 on the Avalanche when he exited that game.
