Desharnais needs to utilize his shot more. Unreal.

TBH, that's key for him. His shot is pretty good. But he seldom uses it. And then he becomes a pass-only dude. And he becomes predictable. Plus, he's small, and very ineffective defensively.

Gassssston 'y ress une chose' Therrien has it right in his case: the hobbit needs to shoot more.

Vegas would be able to negotiate with Radulov and sign him before July 1st. There's no reason not to sign Radulov now.

It's not like we have a plethora of forwards we want to protect. There's Galchenyuk, Pacioretty, Gallagher, Danault, Byron... and that's about it.

So what?

Vegas can talk to any unrestricted free agents they want. If Radulov wants to return, that will make no difference at all.

If he wants to come back, and he knows what deal is waiting for him, who cares about a small window when Vegas can speak with him?

It's in his best interest and the teams best interest to wait til after the break so the team he re-signs with is as strong as it can be. There's no reason whatsoever to sign him and force yourself to protect him.

Admittedly, I haven't really been paying close attention to Nesterov but he's looked pretty solid so far. A huge improvement anyways

Seriously, they look like the Habs of the start of the season. The 4-day stop (Sun and beach, I'm guessing for most of them) helped. They had looked tired before this.

They look like the Habs with Markov. The General is back.

Boys came to play tonight, and were almost at full strength

its clear the boys understand, its passed the all star break, its final stretch before the playoffs, its go time, time to show the league what were about

and if we can somehow upgrade plekanecs spot on the roster and replace with a Duchene, were contenders

His shot is accurate but it's horribly underpowered. Very rare players get as much time and space as he did on that goal. Lehner should've had that.

Agree to disagree then. I think the sooner you could get him under contract for the future the better.

Markov is a good addition

The general as reliable as always.

Yes. 5th season in a row that DD is on powerplay.

Watching the habs is like watching the same movie over and over and over again.

Seen it . Know how it ends.

Kane is taking his revenge on Emelin. I remember in 2016 that he tried to outspeed Emelin in a 1on1 and dismantled himself on the board when he lost his balance. Careful Emelin !
