Giroux was also a legit top line player then. No matter who they put with him and Brady, no one is at that level or even close really.

I don’t know if that’s the explanation. In the first period there was an oppurtunity for him to shoot a one-timer with Reimer leaving some space pn the PP. 22-23 Stutzle would have at least shot that.
