Thank God. The normal overly enthusiastic goal announcements for Buffalo make me cringe, as some who grew up with Milt Ellis. Even keeled baritone, for everything.

This x 1000. I hate the way he normally announces the goals.

I prefer calm matter of fact announcing. Rather than carnival sideshow "Thooooooooooomaaaasss Vaaaaaaaaaneeeeeeek!" Or "Tyyyyyyyyyyler Myyyyyyyyyyyyerssss!"

Just cheesy IMO.

But the average age of the proles in attendance is about 14... so they get wound up for that.

So the PA announcer tones it down for national TV yet we'll play RJ over the loud speakers? Something doesn't jive.
