GDT: Buffalo @ Boston: 7 PM ET - We're Shipping Up To Boston - St. Patrick's Day Edition

Awesome! We won! Time to start looking at prospects going 8-10th overall!
Drafted by the same regime who will use these meaningless no pressure wins as proof the plan is working and convince them to run it back

Can’t wait to do this for the sixth year in a row

Quinn has had an absolutely awful year, the type of year that makes you seriously question his future here. When I watch him, I feel like he isn’t always making bad plays per se, but is just insanely overmatched physically. Not quick enough so he can’t get there. Loses literally every board battle, falls down a lot, incredibly weak on the puck. Guy needs to get serious this summer if he wants a future in the league period. You still wonder if there is a player there if he can mature and get there physically, because he seemed like a smart player who thought the game well in the AHL and even his early NHL career. Big summer for him.

I’ve thought for some time this year that Quinn did nothing to prepare for this year. Nothing. He is constantly off his feet, wins no battles of the few he engages in, and is rarely competitive. For a guy who showed such promise, that is on him. Holy crap has he been bad.

Can't quote posts. Hosting service needs better squirrels / bigger wheel. No worries.

Satisfying win. Like watching your toddler son pee in the bowl and only getting a little on the floor at the end. Versus watching him miss the bowl badly and not even trying to correct the aim. Baby steps. Errh, toddler steps.

Fun game against a depleted Bruins team. Random thoughts ...

Nice to see some pushback from these guys, but we need 2-3 players who naturally play that game. I don't want to see Tage get Cozensed.

They're a different team with Greenway in the lineup. See above.

If the Sabres give up on Power they'll regret it.

I like Andy Brickley's analysis, but he can be a ridiculous homer when it comes to penalty calls.

Once again, Krebs is a gamer. Don't know why some in here are so down on him. He's fine as a 3rd/4th line pest.

Let's see more of Kozak. He looks more comfortable at this level every game he plays.

I hate to dump on a guy who'd be a decent asset otherwise, but is Brett Murray the clumsiest skater we've seen in a Sabres jersey this season? Barbara Underhill, come on down.

Think we won the Byram-Mitts trade.

^^I also liked Kozak tonight @Deep Blue Metallic . Good effort, engaged, effective in role.
I want to see him in the lineup more, and when he does, get more than 10:07 like he did tonight. Just turned 22.

The management probably wants the prospects mainly contributing to a big push for Rochester, and I totally get it. A winning culture within the next crop would be huge to bring up to the Sabres.

Otoh, let's get a glimpse of what we've got in this lost season.

How many noncalls that favored the Bruins, like 5.
Paraphrasing Andy Brickley: swept the puck away from him, then Quinn trips on his stick. Ya, that's known as "tripping".

The refs did miss the high-stick on Lorei.

Zadarov's hit on Tage was obviously late. Takes a lot to get him riled, and he was furious.
